The Sirius XHS is a high speed (15 MS/s) data acquisition system. Its use does not require any complex configuration or programming. It is intuitive and easy to use.
The Sirius XHS features new Hybrid ADC technology and is capable of high-bandwidth transient recording and highly dynamic, alias-free data acquisition.
Modern data interfaces such as USB 3.0, GLAN, XCP and OPC UA, with PTP synchronization, enable open and flexible connectivity.
Multiple Sirius XHS devices can be synchronized with each other, using the PTPv2, IRIG or PPS signal synchronization method. This also provides absolute time synchronization, using internal time servers or GPS time. The Sirius XHS is also backward compatible and can be synchronized with any other Dewesoft DAQ device such as standard Sirius, KRYPTON, IOLITE, DEWE -43.
What are the main features?
- ADC HYBRID TECHNOLOGY: It offers a high-end data acquisition system. Software selectable by channel.
- 15 MS/s SAMPLE RATE AT 5 MHz BANDWIDTH: Up to 15 MS/s sampling rate, with a 5 MHz bandwidth, captures even the shortest transients. The sample rate can be selected by software for each analog input channel.
- HIGH DYNAMIC NON-ALIAS DAQ: Alias-free filtering allows perfect acquisition of signals with a dynamic range of up to 160 dB.
- PERFECT TIMING: Although users can select some channels to be high bandwidth and others to be non-aliased, the filtering is designed in such a way that all signals are perfectly time aligned with zero phase shift.
- MODERN DATA INTERFACES: The GLAN interface allows the distribution of devices with PTPv2 synchronization. The USB3 interface is there for the fastest data transfer with fast connection to the computer.
- OPEN PROTOCOL SUPPORT: Data is transferred to any host using the open OPC UA industry standard protocol. In parallel, the data is available via the XCP protocol, allowing connection to ECU calibration software packages such as ETAS INCA or Vector Canape.
