Sheet Metal Testing Machine

[:is]

Material testing machines or universal testing machines are designed to carry out static or quasi-static tests in the direction of traction and compression. These machines allow tensile, compression, bending, tearing, peeling, friction or low-speed cycle tests, among other functions.

These are high end material testing machines. They are characterized by their high quality and are perfect for use in everyday industry as well as in the laboratory and in teaching, for production and quality control.

In this case, ARO presents its new sheet metal testing machine with the HEXRASCAN evaluation system, for rupture detection according to ISO 16630 "Hole Expansion Test":

  • With manual opening of the test head (optionally with hydraulic opening of the test head).
  • Proportional control valve for the force of the clamping support and the speed of the punching die.
  • Clear arrangement of control elements.
  • Additional features: Data storage, Hot die equipment up to 550°C, etc.
  • Automatic rupture detection without operator influence.
  • Automatic stop of the machine upon detection of rupture.
  • Orifice expansion ratio λ will be calculated.
  • The images will be stored.
  • It can be adapted (retrofitted) to existing machines.
  • The system consists of a camera with tripod and lighting.
  • Appropriate recording and analysis software is included.
  • A PC is required but not included (system requirements will be indicated by the provider).
